How to visit, and for how long
Many passports are visa-free or visa-on-arrival for 30 / 90 days. Chinese passports have had visa-free windows — confirm with ICA. Matrix stay days are typical; Gulf ports may still want a hotel booking and return ticket.
How to work or reside
Work visas are employer-sponsored via ICP or a free zone. Golden Visas last 5 or 10 years against property, investment, high salary or outstanding students. Remote-work permits cover overseas employers, not a local labour card.
PR and citizenship
There is no classic PR-to-citizenship migration track. A Golden Visa is long residence, not nationality. Naturalisation is rare and discretionary. Treat the UAE as a residence base, not a passport upgrade.
