How soon can an EP holder apply for Singapore PR?
There is no published statutory minimum. Many apply after a year or more of work; approval is discretionary, not a month-count.
Atlas de passaportes
Singapore splits tourism, work passes and PR. An Employment Pass or S Pass does not guarantee PR, and PR is not citizenship.

For ASEAN hops, intra-company moves, finance and tech jobs, and pass-holders weighing a PR application.
Many passports enter visa-free for a short stay; Chinese passports often get 30 days — confirm with ICA. Return tickets and accommodation can be checked. Work or a long stay needs a pass in advance; a visit pass is not a work pass.
Work is Employment Pass or S Pass, founders use EntrePass, students a Student's Pass. Employers or schools file with MOM or ICA against salary and qualification bars. Dependant passes follow the principal.
PR is filed with ICA (including PTS). Residence, economic contribution, family and skills are weighed; there is no promised timeline. Citizenship is separate, usually after years as a PR plus obligations such as national service. Pass years do not convert on a formula.
Time to PR:No fixed years — job and family matter; citizenship often ~2 years after PR

Work passes are meant to be approved before arrival. In-country status changes are limited — follow current MOM rules and the employer's outcome.
